Aleksandra Bogojeska was born in Prilep in 1987. Graduated in 2009 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje. She gained the Master of Sciences title at the same faculty in 2010 by presenting thesis in bioinformatics. During her studies, Aleksandra has been a member of international organizations for student exchange which has enabled her to fulfill internships abroad and she has been also continually awarded for her successful studies.
During her last year of studies, in 2008, she started working as a laboratory assistant at the Institute of Computer Technology and Informatics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, Skopje. She has been responsible for preparation and maintenance of laboratory exercises on subjects related to algorithms and data structures, databases and computer architectures.
Both her Bachelor and Master’s thesis were prepared in the field of bioinformatics. The Bachelor's thesis was carried out in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Master thesis was developed in cooperation with the Institute of Genomics and Bioinformatics at the Technical University in Graz, Austria. After completing the master's degree in 2011, she has again been engaged as a laboratory and teaching assistant at the Institute of Computer Technology and Informatics. In scientific research she has been active in the following fields: bioinformatics, computational biology, complex networks, intelligence and machine learning.
