Admissions
The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FCSE) welcomes all interested candidates to enroll to the faculty on the first deadline for enrollment, which will be held on the 15th and 16th of August, 2013, as well as on the second deadline held on the 3rd and 4th of September, and the third deadline which will be on the 17th of September, 2013.
All graduates that have passed the appropriate external and internal subjects from the matura may enroll at FCSE in all deadlines for enrolment. The graduates that have not passed the appropriate external and internal subjects will have a different formula for calculation of the points from the matura and the grade point average of their high school education.
When applying for enrolment at FCSE, all candidates must submit the following documents: application for enrolment; original transcripts from all classes; document for passed state matura (original transcript for completed secondary education); birth certificate; proof of Macedonian citizenship; receipt of payment of 300 denars on FCSE’s account (you may acquire an example of this from the iKnow system); internal application list (this list is generated by the iKnow system). Because the applying is done with original documents, it is recommended for the candidates to beforehand make copies of these documents for their further needs.
For calculating the points from the state matura with which you compete in the enrolment deadlines, you may use the online calculator which is a part of the Portal for future FCSE students.
In accordance with the bid for enrolment of students on the first cycle of studies on the study programs of the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” for the academic year 2013/14, the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering in the academic year 2013/14 will enroll a total of 980 students. Interested graduates can choose to enroll in one of the following study programs:
Study programs from the first cycle at FCSE (3 or 4 year programs) (introduced in 2011)
- Studies on computer science and engineering
- Studies on computer science and engineering – on the English language
- Studies on network technologies
- Studies on application of e-technologies
- Studies on computer education
Study programs transferred from the Institute of Computer Technique and Informatics of FEET
- Informatics and computer engineering (4 years studies)
- Professional studies of informatics (3 years studies)
Study programs transferred from the Institute of Informatics of FMNS
- Academic studies on informatics (4 years studies)
- Professional studies on informatics technologies (3 years studies)
